On October 4th the Corporate Performance Management Congres 2005 took place in Zeist. A variety of speakers, including two of our customers, spoke about their experiences with CPM.
Chris De Hollander, CEO of Stora Enso Berghuizer Mill, spoke about their recent performance management implementation. Stora Enso chose to start with an IT-implementation. This way the MT receives the necessary information quickly and they can work much more efficiently regarding maintenance. After this initial phase Stora Enso is now re-evaluating her scorecards in order to connect these with their organizational and strategical challenges.
Paul Dankers, CEO of Element Six, illustrated the use of CPM during and after a reorganization. After a heavy reorganization Element Six chose to implement CPM to make sure the new situation was reflected in the scorecard and to reinforce the motivation and the involvement of the employees. Now, 1½ years after the reorganization and the CPM implementation the road to growth has been found again and at present the scorecards are being adapted.
